Puttin’ On The Blitz!

We continue to meet our fundraising goals through a grassroot effort and many of our community’s leading influencers with the common interest of revitalizing our local REES Theatre and quality of place. Your generous commitment can yet be paid over the next two years for 2022 and 23.

We have announced this BLITZ to raise additional funding through a legacy seat and brick program. Download form button on the right.   

Together we have completed three of four phases that will allow for a grand reopening in October of 2022: The 82nd anniversary year for the The REES Theatre.

This project has had the full support of the City of Plymouth - Redevelopment, The Wythougan Preservation Council, Marshall County Historical Museum & Crossroads Center, Marshall County Community Foundation, MCEDC, Marshall County Tourism, Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce, Regional Cities Initiative and most recently designated as a Marshall County CROSSROADS Stellar Project for Arts & Culture.

With the effects of COVID on the supply chain and material costs we know we will experience increased costs and possible delays but we remain fixed on the benefits of this re-energized downtown anchor providing new life and support to the Arts & Culture of Marshall County.

To prepare for this opening, we hope to hire a dynamic Executive Director in the coming weeks with an announcement in July.
